The EXOMIST002028 is a deep-bed coalescing filter element engineered to replace Hankison E5-40 cartridges in high-capacity compressed air systems. Standing 517 mm tall with an 83 mm outer diameter, this element is designed for large filter housings found in central compressor rooms and main plant air headers. Its extended length provides significantly more micro glass fiber media than shorter elements, enabling higher flow rates and longer service intervals.

Rated at 14.0 Nm3/min, this element handles substantial air volumes while maintaining oil carryover at 0.01 ppm and particulate removal down to 0.01 micron. This performance meets ISO8573-1 Class 2 requirements, suitable for demanding industrial applications including automotive paint lines, aerospace manufacturing, and high-power laser cutting.

The coalescing media captures liquid oil and water aerosols through impaction and diffusion on microglass fibers, with collected fluids draining to the housing sump. Clean pressure drop remains below 0.01 bar, contributing to 5-7% energy savings over the 8000-hour rated life.
